Abstract

|
Premature infant, especially extremely low birth weight (>1,000 g) was reported to be vulnerable to the intraventricular hemorrhage. Intraventricular hemorrhage developed to post-hemorrhagic ventricular dilatation (PHVD) which may cause neurodevelopmental delay and neurological deficits in many infants. The authors reported a case that successfully
treated PHVD with Ommaya reservoir temporarily.
